Icons of Women's Style jellemzők

From the pencil skirt to the bikini and from the stiletto to the cowboy boot, there is a first of its kind behind nearly every item in the reminine wardrobe. While the definitive example, often created by a single designer, has achieved icon status, its various reinterpretations season after season have become fashion staples.
Take Coco Chanel's simple little balck dress first published in American Vogue in 1926. Vogue predicted tath the LBD would become 'a sorf of uniform fo rall women of taste' and, indeed, it proved to be one of Chanel's greatest contributions to fashion. Starlets, performers and royalty, from Josephine Baker to Wallis Simspon, all wore some variation on the LBD and then, over the decades, black become an everyday part of women's wardrobes.
