The aim of the author is to provide a study-aid for Business Mathematics I. Course that introduces calculus directed at beginning of International Business Administration and Tourism amp;catering Students. In this text the focus is very much on understanding of the theoretical foundations and collecting the most important knowledge to a successful exam.
Business Mathematics I. covers closely related topics such as limiting value, continuity, differentiability and integration. These topics are studied in the context of real numbers and their functions. Topics range from differential and integral calculus of one variable to introductory calculus of two variables. We are planning to show the power and usefulness of the calculus in economics and business applications. So applications are discussed wherever possible, particularly in economics, business and marketing themes. We will give students a working knowledge of calculus as well as an awareness of its important applications in today's business life.
