Éthos, Knowing, History jellemzők
"I ask: does the mind have anything to do with ethos - does soul have anything to do with history? Do they interfere in each other's affairs, and if so, how? I must separate inseparable phenomena moving in one and the same human system and dependent on each other, in order to be able to say something of their movement together, if not of the latter's laws. Mind and ethos - this writing will discuss the interactions of soul and history, or their motions that pit them against one another. It will discuss their existence in a closed space, whose lines of force are to all probability determined by history, even if they are not to be outlined by a compass or a ruler." (Éva Ancsel)
