This is a story of a young boy's journey from a sleepy provincial town in Hungary during the Second World War to the concentration camp in Bergen-Belsen. Accompanied by his parents, he found himself uprooted from the cocoon of a secure family home in the wave of deportation of Hungarian Jews during the Nazi occupation.
